ÜBER 250 AUSSTELLENDE FOTOGRAF:INNEN
Die photoSCHWEIZ ist die grösste Werkschau für Fotografie der Schweiz. Jährlich zeigen über 250 nationale und vereinzelt internationale Fotograf:innen aktuelle Arbeiten. Ergänzt wird die Werkschau durch 15 Sonderausstellungen, ein breites Workshop- und Masterclass-Angebot in der photoSCHOOL, spannende Talks und Vorträge von nationalen und internationalen Fotografie-Persönlichkeiten im photoFORUM, den photoAWARDS im Kaufleuten Zürich und einen ebenso abwechslungsreichen wie innovativen Marktplatz, der photoINDUSTRY. Auch präsentieren ausgewählte photoGALLERYS ihr Best-Of im Rahmen der photoSCHWEIZ.
Jahr für Jahr verschafft die Werkschau einen repräsentativ aktuellen Überblick über das fotografische Schaffen in der Schweiz.
Die Teilnahme zur photoSCHWEIZ ist für alle Fotograf:innen aus den Bereichen Presse, Werbung und Kunst (Profi & Amateur) möglich. Es können freie Arbeiten oder Auftragsarbeiten eingereicht werden. Wichtiges Kriterium ist, dass die Arbeit entweder im letzten Jahr entstanden oder zum ersten Mal publiziert/abgeschlossen wird. Ein Kurations-Team trifft auf der Basis der eingereichten Arbeit und des Portfolios die schwierige Auswahl, wer an der Ausstellung teilnehmen darf.

photoSCHWEIZ is the largest photography exhibition in Switzerland. Every year, over 250 national and a few international photographers show their latest work. The exhibition is complemented by 15 special exhibitions, a wide range of workshops and masterclasses in the photoSCHOOL, exciting talks and lectures by national and international photography personalities in the photoFORUM, the photoAWARDS in Kaufleuten Zurich and a marketplace that is as varied as it is innovative, the photoINDUSTRY. Selected photoGALLERYS will also be presenting their best-of at photoSCHWEIZ.
Year after year, the show provides a representative and up-to-date overview of photographic work in Switzerland.
Participation in photoSCHWEIZ is open to all photographers from the fields of press, advertising and art (professional & amateur). Free works or commissioned works can be submitted. The important criterion is that the work was either created in the last year or is published/finished for the first time. A team of curators will make the difficult selection of who may participate in the exhibition based on the submitted work and portfolio.
